About CDC Logistics

CDC Logistics was established in 1980 as the Intermodal Division of APA Transport, a domestic motor carrier covering the northeastern portion of the United States. In the early years of our existence, the main concentration of the company was the development of its NVOCC and bonded container freight station services. In 1996, we realized our customer requirements were changing as they now needed to deal with a full logistics company. This led to the opening of our first 52,000-square-foot warehouse in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

In 2000, we began our intermodal trucking operation, which gave us the opportunity to serve our customers' container trucking needs. Since our employees have been so responsive to our customers, additional opportunities were presented to CDC Logistics. This led to more growth requiring us to expand our Elizabeth facility to 102,000 square feet.

In 2003, CDC Logistics began its automobile loading service. From one customer loading 4 to 5 containers per week, this quickly grew to loading over 110 containers per week for well over 100 customers.

On July 17, 2006, we changed our name to CDC Logistics in an effort to better describe the range of services we now offer. Once again in 2008, our business surpassed the size of our facility requiring us to move to a modern 225,000-square-foot facility in Bayonne, New Jersey.

Our history has taught us that success in business is a direct result of our employees' complete dedication to serving our customers along with a total commitment to honesty in everything we do.
